Mindful Body has started collaborating with researchers at Halmstad University in Sweden, because we believe, that it is important to scientifically evaluate the potential effects of the Mindful Body method. The first study was conducted regarding sport injuries but in the future, we aim to research the possibilities of the Mindful Body method in other contexts as well.
Study on Mindful Body
A study was conducted by using the Mindful Body method in Sweden among junior elite soccer players in the years 2015-2016. The purpose of the study was to find, whether the Mindful Body method aids in reducing injury frequency and illness among the players. The study was presented at the Annual Conference for the Association for Applied Sport Psychology in Orlando and you can find the link to the poster presentation below along with a more detailed description of the study and the results.
